Morocco is a place of rich and colourful diversity. Culturally. Ethnically. Geographically. And also economically too. There are the super-rich, a fact that escaped the ignorant side of me. As much as I am struck and held mesmerized by the violet dawn over the Erg Chebbi desert, or the complex urban modernity in Tanger, maybe the architectural intricacies of the Babs in Meknes, surely the blue-splashed labyrinth of a medina in Chefchaouen, I am most dearly enamoured of the curious smiles in the people. They are truly the gem, a people that are rather selfless and well-intentioned by nature.
